Multiconsult part of HSE success
Hyundai as the D&B Contractor for the Jurong Rock Cavern Project, launched their 2015 Safety Campaign on January 26th, celebrating more than one year and more than 4 million man-hours worked since last LTI.
Multiconsult as part of the STM Consortium, established in 2006 on behalf of Jurong Town Cooperation, the Project HSE requirements based on the Zero Philosophy, and has accordingly ensured a practical implementation and follow up which so far has resulted in an Accident Frequency Rate of 0.34 related to nearly 24 million man-hours worked. (Singapore average for construction was 2.0 in 2013).
In project manager Petter Plassbak’s speech, (ref picture), he express thanks to all project personnel at site for their safety attitude and reminded that safety precaution never ends and requested full support to the upcoming campaign.
The campaign is half-yearly, and the main topics are being chosen based on the trending of unwanted incidents. For the first half of 2015 focus will be on refresher training for workers and staff, toolbox meetings and housekeeping. The targets for the campaign are;
– Zero Lost Time Incidents
– Improve HSE Culture on Site
