Sahkalin2 - Concrete structures

Foundations and Concrete Structures

Onshore and offshore process plants need foundations and concrete structures for all sorts of equipment, pipes and pre- assembled units/racks/modules. Multiconsult has designed a major part of the foundations for the onshore Norwegian oil and gas plants over the last 30 years.

Concrete and structural engineering services are provided that combine expertise on soil and rock conditions and special load cases like lifting, blast-loads, environmental loads etc. 3D/4D modeling is an important tool that allows us to optimize and integrate the design in the overall plant layout and provides a collision check against other structures or equipment. The integration of foundation/ structure and the soil is important because settlement criteria are very strict.
