Congratulation

The JRC Project was formally opened Tuesday September 2nd by the Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong and in this respect I would like to thank all of you for your thorough support and contribution during more than eight years from we started this project.

The first oil was imported mid-April and the facility has since been operated as “hot plant”. The flare at the highest top of Jurong Aromatic facility is the proof of the two first caverns successfully in operation.

This has from the beginning been a very challenging project. However, your trust, enthusiasm, innovation and always attention when requested for support, are highly valued success criteria for achieving this milestone. In this respect I would like to highlight what Mr Loo Choon Yong, Chairman of JTC Corporation, said in his introduction speech; “….and a special thanks to Petter Plassbak …..”.

The project has still a way to go and I trust you all will be there if any of your competences are requested.
