Aasta Hansteen

The Aasta Hansteen will be the first Spar platform utilised at the Norwegian Shelf. Multiconsult is performing the Detail Design of the subsea structures foundations delivered by Aker Solutions. The structures will be placed 1300m below sea level.

Aasta Hansteen is one of the biggest and most complex industry project in Europe. The field is situated 320 km west of Bodoe, a city at the northern coast of Norway. Statoil is the operator. The Spar platform is a floating installation for processing of gas.

The foundations for the Aasta Hansteen Spar platform are Suction Anchors and Mud-mate Anchors. The project is huge, challenging and a pioneer project we are proud to be a part of since FEED, declares Steffen Giese, Multiconsult Project Manager.
