Gullfaks Platforms

Gullfaks B – Verification of Gullfaks B topsides structures during transportation to the mating site. Client: Moss Rosenberg Verft.

Gullfaks C – The substructure for the GBS (gravity Base Structure) platform has a total height of 262 metres. 240.000 m3 of concrete and 80.000 tonnes of reinforcement steel were used. The substructure has a total deck load capacity of 49.000 tonnes.

Engineering services
Multiconsult had a central position during the detail engineering of the concrete substructure for the Gullfaks C platform. Client: Norwegian Contractors. In addition, Multiconsult participated in the following projects during the Gullfaks field development:
